Morning ferry and traffic
Especially if you have booked the morning ferry, please set off from your accommodation to the ferry jetty in good time.
The heavy rush hour traffic in the morning with traffic jams must be taken into consideration!
Yes, we know: it’s not fun to get up early when you’re on holiday, but please start on time and better enjoy your coffee at the harbour than miss your ferry. Thank you!
Port fee re-intruduced
The Seychelles Port Authorities will re-introduce the embarkation fee from 1 January 2024.
All adult passengers will have to pay 2 Euros per person per trip from / to Mahé.
For trips between Praslin and La Digue or v.v., the port fee is 1 Euro per adult per trip.
The fee is reflected in our prices for departures from 01 January 2024 onwards. This means, our prices are INCLUSIVE of that port fee.
Port fee “postponed”
In an unprecedented move, even by Seychelles standards, that gives new meaning to the word “chaotic”, the Seychelles port authorities – after countless changes in recent days – have withdrawn the embarkation fee that was to apply from 1 September 2023 “until further notice”.
