Summer 2023: Many ferries booked out!

As the busiest time of the year arrives, many Seychelles ferries are already fully booked!
It seems to be extra-busy this year…

So please book your tickets as far in advance as possible, to avoid inconveniences due to completely booked out ferries.

Praslin jetty has moved

During the past years, the old Praslin jetty became too small and often crowded.
As of 01 March 2023, all ferry operations (Cat Cocos and Cat Rose) have moved from the old jetty to the new ERO Passenger Terminal on Praslin.
The two are only a few hundred meters apart as the crow flies (or 1.8 kms by car).

Here is the location of the new Praslin ferry jetty (Google Maps): https://goo.gl/maps/YGr4HvzmAsBJZCeUA

The new passenger Terminal has the following facilities:

• Ferry company offices
• Snacks shop/Cafe
• Bureau de change / ATM
• Car Hire desks
• Toilets

Unfortunately, there are no luggage storage facilities.

‘ERO’ was a sailboat built on La Digue by Ernest Romain and Robert Morgan, from whom the name of the boat was derived. The vessel was later captained by Luc Grandcourt. ‘ERO’ transported passengers and cargo between Mahe and Praslin until 1975 when it sank at sea. All passengers onboard were saved.
